What Pennsylvania PCAs Do at ProStat

ProStat PCAs help residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, and the small dignities that make a personal care home feel like home. We staff facilities across Lancaster, Harrisburg, Lebanon, Reading, York, and Allentown plus most of central and eastern PA. If you have an active PA PCA certification (or are working toward it), an active driver’s license, and a willingness to show up reliably, we want to talk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a PCA certification to work with ProStat?

Yes — we require an active PA Personal Care Aide certification. If you’re working through training, talk to us anyway; we can often line you up with positions for when you complete.

What’s the difference between PCA, CNA, and work?

PCAs work primarily in personal care homes and assisted living, focusing on assistance with activities of daily living. CNAs work in skilled nursing facilities under nurse supervision and can perform more clinical tasks. HHAs work in home settings. Many of our aides hold multiple certifications and pick shifts across all three.

How often do I get paid?

Weekly. Direct deposit every Friday for the shifts you worked the previous week.

Can I work just weekends?

Yes. Many of our PCAs work weekend-only schedules to supplement their primary job or attend school during the week.

Do you place PCAs near me?

We staff personal care homes across central, eastern, and parts of western PA. Tell us your ZIP code and commute tolerance and we’ll match you to facilities within reach.
